Who am I?
Hey guys :)
My name is Adriana and this is The Hermit Tarot , dedicated to sharing not only knowledge and curiosities related to tarot and promoting my work as a tarot reader, but also to sharing knowledge related to spirituality and esotericism. I am 33 years old, a journalist graduated from FIAMFAAM, from São Paulo, Brazil, a tarot reader, a student of Natural Witchcraft, Integrative Therapies and Traditional Tarot at the Casa de Bruxa Holistic University, an artisan and an entrepreneur. I am also passionate about books, Celtic mythology, the Gothic universe, classical music, cathedrals, history and medievalism.
Ever since I was little, I have always been interested in esoteric and mystical subjects. I have always been a crystal and incense girl. I loved reading books about magic and religion and buying witch, gnome and tarot decorations. Even though my rational side led me to the materiality of the world as I grew older, my esoteric/spiritualist side never stopped pulsing inside me, and the whys of life, spiritually speaking, have always been latent and questioning inside my head. I cannot see spirituality without the teachings of matter, just as I cannot think of a purely rational and material world without spirituality.
My story with tarot began when I was about 16 years old, when I bought a deck at an esoteric fair. It was the "Witches' Tarot", from the old store "Beyond the Legend" (a brazilian brand). I thought it was beautiful; it was composed only of the 22 major arcana, and all the cards had representations of women and Celtic mythology. I loved it, but I didn't know how to use it.
And so years and years passed. Every now and then I would try to do a reading or draw a card, but I didn't understand the meaning. Until I started to let it go... but always with that inner desire to one day understand and be able to read not only for myself, but for other people.
In 2022, this opportunity arose. That's when I took a course and was finally able to learn more about this incredible oracle. I was able to dive deep into myself through the cards, the journey of the fool and the human archetypes present in them. Tarot is easy to identify with because all the cards tell stories that we have already experienced or that we will yet experience.
And I fell in love even more. I discovered that I could not only help myself gain clarity, purpose and self-knowledge, but I could also help other people through the messages and advice in the cards. And that is what I love more and more.
With each positive feedback, with each message of thanks, I feel deep in my heart that I am on the right path, and it is extremely gratifying to know that I have a tool that can bring enlightenment to those who use it. I believe that when we know who we are and what we want, we become better human beings, and by becoming better human beings we can change the world.
